Introduction

The MP-2140 is a light industrial barcode label printer with an outstanding set of features in a durable metal housing. With a print speed up to 4ips the MP-2140 fulfills mid to low volume printing requirements, and its large complement of 8MB Flash memory and 8MB SDRAM ensures smooth and stable operation. The printer provides a 4.1-inch (104mm) printing width and can be set for direct thermal or thermal transfer printing. The MP-2140 features easy loading for ribbon and media rolls. A super large media bay provides the capacity for a range of media rolls with up to 8-inch OD and 1-inch to 3-inch ID media core, as well as space for a ribbon of up to 300M. The ribbon can be wound ink-side out or ink-side in. A fanfold slot allows the feeding of a variety of fanfold media through the rear of the printer. The MP-2140 provides several paper sensors for diverse applications, and sensing various media sizes is easily set without connecting to a computer. It also supports different media calibration modes to meet different demands.
