A portable data terminal (PDT) or Mobile Computer (MC), is an electronic device that is used to enter or retrieve data into it in build memory. the data later stage will be transfer back to terminal host either via hard cable USB, via wireless transmission (WLAN or WWAN) or via disc transfer. Barcode mobile computer is a mobile computer come with in build barcode readers, and they are used in large stores, warehouses, hospitals, or in the field, to access a database store in the terminal itself. most of the PDT and MC today run wireless device management software that allows them to interact with a database or software application hosted on a server or mainframe computer. Anyway for some entry data collection purpose, batch mode will still exit due to cost reason.
