How to use scan and print on quality control in car manufacturing?
07/Mar/2023
In the car manufacturing, the individual part normally come with each component of the car example the engine block, the automatic transmission control, the air-con component and so on. Most of the barcode is direct part mark on the component or stick with the super strong glue label.
The assemblers required to fix the component on the car body and at the same time record down the serial number of the component of the car in order to track the supplier source at the end of the process.
The scan and print application is required at this process because the assemblers who are assemble the component to the car required to fill up their A4 sheet check list. The conventional method the hand writing the check list with pen and at the end of the process return this A4 document to the office in order to retype into the system.
AGen scan and print simplify the process here, the mechanic just needs to use the mobile computer and scan the barcode on the car component, a predefine barcode label is then printed out from the portable printer. The assemblers just need to peel and stick the label on A4 document then the recording process is done.
On top of the scan and print function, AGen also keep the soft copy of the data, it will then automatically transfer to the AGen server for reporting purposes. The IT department can now feedback the data to their ERP system for customer service purposes.
