guarantee that the printed cards are compliant with European and U.S. regulations for food-contact compatibility.
ONE COMPREHENSIVE CERTIFICATE FOR VARIOUS TYPES OF LABELING
Since 2014, Evolis has implemented a rigorous quality procedure to ensure that its price tag solution meets the demands of the food-processing industry. Until now, the certification issued by TÜV related to its labels on black cards printed with a white ribbon. The ribbon itself was certified by independent testing agency ISEGA. The new TÜV certifications allow a more varied choice of labeling, widening the scope of compliance with European and U.S. regulations. The new certification thus authorizes price tags on white cards using a black ribbon. This certification from recognized international body TÜV Rheinland attests that the printed cards are harmless to health and may come into contact with food. The labels therefore meet the European requirements of Regulation (CE) No. 1935/2004 and the U.S. requirements of Title 21 of the Code of Federal Regulations (FDA).
