The challenge

Bank Asya chose to decentralize production of its payment cards to each of its 160 bank branches, across the country. The goal was to improve responsiveness toward its customers and gain a real edge over competitors. 

The solution

Bank Asya issues AsyaCard DIT. This payment card can be used in several different ways, such as providing access to public transport, parking, student benefits, etc. 
On the payment side, AsyaCard DIT meets Mastercard and Visa requirements and can be contact or contactless. In a few seconds, the Evolis Printer can:

• Print the payment card number and the name and photograph of the cardholder 
• Encode the magnetic strip and the four parts of the chip: 

• EMV with contact (used for contact payments) 
• Contactless EMV (for pre-authorized contactless payments) 
• Loyalty (data for public transport) 
• Mifare (road toll payment using the KGS system)

At Bank Asya, a maximum of 15 minutes is now required to record and verify customer data, set spending limits and issue an AsyaCard DIT!
