ALC-TECH (M) SDN BHD had won over a project for issuing blood type card in Malaysia. These cards are issued by one of the reputable blood testing clinic. They are using Evolis Zenius Expert together with their in-house develop system to personalize on pre-printed cards in all their 37 branches. Printing is straight forward, just monochrome black perso.



Our customer in Malaysia is the largest private provider of diagnostic laboratory services in the region. Head-quartered in Petaling Jaya, with over 500 staff nationwide and have an established network of 37 electronically linked pathology facilities throughout Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah & Sarawak. Currently they performs tests for over 1.5 million patients per year. They provide medical testing in all disciplines to over 10,000 Medical Practitioners, Hospitals and Corporate Clients.

Initially, they did selected compatitor card printer for their project. They even issued P.O for the purchase. According to the IT programmer, Competitor representative told them that they need to purchase additional print server for their Competitor card printers in order to print from network environment. Customer do not like the concept and also due to place constrain and additional cost involve.

Customer are very happy with the user friendliness, printing quality, speed & compactness of the printer and it come’s with a TCP/IP build-in port. On top off that, customer are also happy that it come’s with Evolis Premium Suite software to monitor the printers status as a free additional features. It met all their criteria. As of now, every 3 - 4 weeks, Customer will place order for 15 rolls black monochrome ribbons & cleaning kits to maintain the printers.

Recently, Customer add another 7 units Zenius Expert printer for their Sabah & Sarawak branches and also for standby unit. Because of the excellent performance of Evolis printers, they also purchased another Primacy Single sided printer for issuing their Staff ID cards using Card Presso XS Edition.
